The founders launched their first Freedom Boat Club franchise with two locations in Southern Delaware. 775 boat trips were enjoyed by members in the inaugural year.

The founders purchased a 2nd Freedom Boat club franchise and expanded its operations into Southern New Jersey and Northern Delaware, adding two new locations.  Regional interest grew in this novel idea, and collectively members enjoyed 2,060 boat trips.

In 2020, operations expanded to support growing demand.  Two additional locations were opened in Southern New Jersey and Southern Delaware and collectively, members enjoyed 5,819 boat trips.

In early 2021, the family purchased a 3rd Freedom Boat Club franchise and entered the New York market, launching three new locations on the Hudson River.  In July of 2021, the family acquired a 4th Freedom Boat Club franchise and expanded operations into Maryland and Washington, D.C.  These acquisitions provided members with expanded access across the Mid-Atlantic region and included 19 locations in NJ, DE, NY, MD, and DC to experience the boating lifestyle.  Collectively, members enjoyed 12,838 boat trips.

In 2022, the team focused on standardizing and expanding operations across the Mid-Atlantic region, significantly increasing the size of the fleet to support growing regional demand.  A few additional locations were also added to enable additional access points to enjoy the diverse waterways.  Collectively, members enjoyed 18,363 boat trips.

In 2023, the member experience team was added along with additional offerings for members.  The social aspect of the club expanded, providing members with more opportunities to connect at members-only events and to participate in community outreach initiatives.  The club also introduced the "SeaSisters" providing women with more opportunities to advance their boating skills and enjoy the boating lifestyle.  Overall, the regional interest continued to grow and collectively, members enjoyed 20,355 boat trips.

In 2024, the fleet management team expanded, significantly,  to further enable member access to a diverse, well maintained fleet.  The first direct-to-consumer boat sale business launched to accelerate our ability to provide our members with new boat types and broader boating experiences.  Regional interest continued to grow and collectively, our members enjoyed 22,607 boat trips.

In 2025, the new Freedom XL membership plan is introduced.  Freedom XL is designed to provide members with an option to access the yachting lifestyle and to broaden ways our members experience our diverse waterways.  Additionally,  "Freedom Anglers" is introduced to provide members  with more opportunities to learn, mingle, and enjoy fishing in the Mid-Atlantic region. Finally, The family introduces Liberty Boat Group, offering quality pre-owned boats with nationwide shipping.
